Description – Viagra 150 MG Tablet relaxes the smooth muscles present in the wall of blood vessels and helps in increasing the flow of blood in certain specific areas of the body. It is used for the treatment of erection disorders and Pulmonary Hypertension (high blood pressure of blood vessels connecting the lungs and the heart).
MECHANISM
- Viagra does not sexually arouse a man. It only works if a man is sexually stimulated.
- When you get aroused sexually, the nervous system in your penis’s erectile tissue releases nitric oxide (NO).
- The nitric oxide stimulates an enzyme that produces something called a messenger cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP).
- The cGMP relaxes the smooth muscle cells. One result of this is that the arteries in your penis dilate and the blood can flow into your penis more easily.
- Another result is that the erectile tissue itself fills with blood. Both of these process result in an erection.
