Description
Mechanism
- The increase dose might increase the side effects so try to take it with doctor’s recommendation.
- The main mechanism of the Cialis is nothing but the production of the nitic oxide which is released during sexual intercourse. Because the PDE5 that is present in the Cialis only works in the presence of nitric oxide.
- Cialis is nothing but a medicine that stimulates the blood flow in the vessels of the penis that leads to proper erection during the intercourse.
- Studies have shown that when a man is sexually active, nitric oxide is released into the penis and these chemical starts producing cGMP which relaxes the smooth muscles in the genital area and increases the flow as shown before.
- The amount of cGMP is increased because of the inhibition of phosphodiesterase type5 (PDE5) that enhances the erectile function.
- The muscles of the arteries in the walls of the lungs contains acid called PDE5, hence the drug is also used for pulmonary hypertension treatment.
- To get best results, follow the instructions given by the doctor and not exceed the dose without any recommendation.
- Cialis is one of the longest-lasting PDE5 drug for problems like erectile dysfunction and impotency. It lasts up to 36 hours and in some cases, it is also seen that it can last up to 72 hours.
